Motorola Solutions Ireland Limited in Cork is offering a software engineering internship focused on embedded systems. We are looking for software engineers & software testers with a strong interest in embedded systems to help expand our team and deliver the next generation of communication devices to our customers.

Our mission is to ensure that the products meet the requirements and related quality level before they are released into the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, BIS or related field.
• Interest in embedded systems and software quality.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile/Scrum team to analyse, design, implement, and test new two-way radio products and features
• Teamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environment
• Finding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defects
• Create and execute unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance tests
• Execute test cases, analyse results and report all detected issues/defects
• Collaborate with other team members and test & engineering managers
