Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is hiring for an embedded software driver role in Cork, Ireland. You will work on next-generation SoC for Compute, smartphone, IoT, and other product categories, delivering critical drivers across Qualcomm's chipset portfolio.

The role requires strong C programming skills, RTOS experience, and collaboration across multiple teams. The position focuses on development, testing, and documentation of drivers, with opportunities to prototype new features and contribute

Qualifications

Essential: SoC development/architecture background.
Experience with RTOS such as Zephyr, FreeRTOS or ThreadX.
Strong C programming skills and data structures knowledge.
Good understanding of memory management and embedded systems architecture.

Responsibilities

Develop and prototype industry-leading features across device driver teams.
Deliver critical embedded drivers and related features for Qualcomm chipsets across Mobile, Auto, XR.
Design, test and document multiple drivers for internal and external consumption.
