Job summary

PC House Limited seeks an Electronics Engineer to develop and improve testing, applications and automation processes for computer hardware and electronic circuits. The role focuses on test engineering, complex failure analysis and automated diagnostics, with routine IT support not being the primary function.

You will design testing methods, prepare validation plans, use oscilloscopes and multimeters, analyse results and implement software-enabled diagnostics to boost reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electronic testing, circuit diagnostics, automation or related engineering work.
• Strong knowledge of circuits, PCBs, computer hardware and components.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters and testing equipment.
• Experience analysing faults, diagrams and test results.
• Experience with automated testing or process automation.
• Ability to combine testing with software-based diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience documenting tech specs and training technicians.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve testing methods for circuits, PCBs and hardware.
• Prepare test plans, validation procedures, specs and quality standards.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters and other equipment to test systems.
• Analyse circuit diagrams and test results for faults.
• Investigate complex failures and identify root causes.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring faults.
• Develop automated diagnostic and testing processes using hardware and software tools.
• Create testing scripts and systems to record and evaluate data.
• Evaluate components, hardware, firmware and equipment for performance.
• Propose tech solutions for hardware-software integration.
• Advise on component selection and compatibility.
• Analyse performance data to improve reliability and testing accuracy.
• Prepare engineering reports and validation records.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians on testing methods.
• Assess new technologies and process-improvement opportunities.
