Job summary

Stryker Ireland in Cork seeks a technician for a 12-month contract to support manufacturing processes, maximize equipment productivity and minimize yield loss. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, work with cross-functional teams and vendors, and assist in maintenance planning and calibration.

Applicants should have an engineering-related certificate or diploma, plus experience with electronics, PLCs, AutoCAD and related tooling. Prior medical device exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Science or related field.
• 2 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of electronics and software control systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical process support to manufacturing lines to ensure performance targets.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software interfacing issues on the floor.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration and spares to minimise yield loss.
• Interface with cross-functional teams and external vendors as required.
