Job summary

Stryker Ireland is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer for a 23-month fixed-term contract at our site in Carrigtwohill, Cork. You will lead process development, equipment qualification, and validation activities while partnering with manufacturing, quality and external partners to optimise products and processes.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, PPAP, or MSA studies.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, optimisation, and cost-reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Manage the introduction of new products and processes, supporting transfer and launch activities.
• Own equipment qualification activities from machine design through process validation.
• Project manage the implementation of new capital equipment, including qualification and validation deliverables.
• Apply structured root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies to resolve process and manufacturing challenges.
• Evaluate and optimise manufacturing layouts to improve process flow, floor space utilisation, and quality performance.
• Develop and review manufacturing and quality documentation, including PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, PPAP, or MSA studies.
