Job summary

CBRE is seeking a proactive Site Maintenance Technician with an electrical trades background to join a site-based team in Ireland. The role covers planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, reactive and remedial works, and rapid response to client issues while maintaining high safety and documentation standards.

You will use CBRE systems to manage work orders, coordinate with the Helpdesk and site stakeholders, and supervise subcontractors to ensure service levels and quality are met.

Qualifications

  • Electrical trade background and hands-on experience in maintenance.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, reactive maintenance and remedial works.
  • Ability to respond to site emergencies and client concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with motivation, ownership, and accountability.
  • Carry out routine, reactive, and corrective maintenance to buildings and systems to meet SLAs.
  • Report defects and prepare remedial repair quotations.
  • Use CBRE Helpdesk and CMMS systems to manage tasks and communication.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and paperwork for WOs.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements and risk assessments are prepared for all tasks.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure QHSE compliance on site.

Purpose of the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individualwith an electrical trade background to work as part of a site-based maintenanceteam. Candidates must have hands on experience in dealing with plannedpreventative maintenance , fault finding, reactive maintenance and remedialworks in accordance with agreed service levels, and be able to respond to siteemergencies, client concerns or any tasks as identified by Client or Linemanager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadingby example, through motivation, ownership, accountability, and commitment.
  • Ensurethat routine, reactive, and corrective maintenance are carried out to allbuilding, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreedservice level agreement.
  • Reportingof defects and preparation of remedial repair quotations.
  • Useand Manage all tasks via the client and/or CBRE Helpdesk and CMMS systems.
  • Liaisewith Helpdesk, Management, and customers with updates daily.
  • Ensureall relevant maintenance records are kept to a comprehensive and high standard,and all Work Order (tasks) paperwork is completed, feeding all details to theContract Support, Technical Supervisor and Contract Manager.
  • Ensureall documentation is maintained and readily available using CBRE systems -Logbooks, Harbour, Talent Coach, Web Quote, etc
  • Ensureall QHSE requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencing.
  • Ensurethat Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carriedout to ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervisesubcontractors on-site to ensure a comprehensive contractor management system,including QHSE as per Client/CBRE procedures.
  • Ensureall matters relating to Health and Safety legislative requirements are fullydocumented and understood by all site staff and subcontractors involved in themaintenance of plant and equipment.
  • Ensurethe provision of a safe & ample healthy working environment, and ensurecompliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client sitepolicies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
  • Keepa High standard of housekeeping and Show Site Standards at all times.
  • Developa good working relationship with all members of on-site CBRE team, other CBREcolleagues and supply partner representatives.
  • Ensurea professional image of CBRE is presented to client, 3rd parties and visitors,and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at alltimes.
  • Ensurethat professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment topersonal development and life-long-learning.
  • Completedaily hazard hunting and load all findings to Harbour. In each instance,attempt safe first fix and if hazard is not resolved, escalation to line managerand client FM.
  • Supportthe Facilities Assistant team with all event set ups and breakdowns. At times,working additional hours to support events
  • Attendmeetings as required to facilitate the smooth running of the business. Holddaily morning catch up's with the Technical Supervisor and client if/whenrequired.
  • Bepart of the fire evac and first aid team.
  • Takeownership and Manage all technical matters relating to plant and equipmentmaintenance including existing equipment, new works and future upgrade works
  • Identifypotential technical improvements for existing plant and equipment maintenanceto facilitate improved reliability and /or cost reduction with fully supporteddocumentation
  • Liaisewith site and client management during any emergency operations or procedures
  • Workingwith other CBRE contracts to ensure the collaborative development of thebusiness, effective teamworking, and support to colleagues.
  • Ensuringa customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effectiverelationships are maintained with key client contacts.
  • Controland administer CBRE systems, not limited to, Webquotes, elogbooks (QHSE andCompliance), CAFM Systems, and Harbour.
  • Promotingand maintaining the core RISE Values of CBRE.
  • Anyother reasonable task as requested by the CBRE GWS management.
