Job summary

Ls Professional Placements Limited is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain and test electrical systems across domestic, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, including smart home automation in West Cork. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and high workmanship standards.

The position requires QQI Level 6 or equivalent and at least 3 years post-qualification experience, with KNX knowledge preferred and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
• KNX system experience or willingness to upskill.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing.
• Work on KNX LUXOR living smart home systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults across domestic, commercial, and industrial systems.
• Ensure compliance with Safe Electric and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients on-site.
• Complete accurate service documentation and reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
