Job summary

Actavo in Ireland is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our field operations. You will ensure safety, read electrical plans, inspect components, and perform maintenance while delivering high service quality on domestic projects.

Key requirements include Ireland qualification, Safe Pass, 3+ years domestic experience, and strong communication. You’ll work independently with a customer-focused, proactive approach in dynamic site environments.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and electrical plans.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Experience with domestic electrical work and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and lead by example.
  • Upload all details on handheld device on completion.
  • Address customer queries and explain system procedures to customers.
  • Maintain high performance levels per industry regulations.
  • Escalations reported to team manager.
  • Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
  • Inspect electrical components and diagnose issues with testing devices.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you
  • Upload all details of same on handheld mobile field technology device on completion
  • Addressing customer queries and explaining system procedures to customers
  • Maintain the highest performance levels according to industry best practice and governing regulations
  • Report all escalations directly to team manager
  • Read blueprints or technical diagrams
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, identifying electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
  • Perform general electrical maintenance
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland
  • Valid Verification & Certification qualification (QC number)
  • Valid Safe Pass an advantage
  • 3+ years domestic experience
  • Ability to reads and comprehend technical/electrical plans
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Time Management
