The Lodge at Ashford Castle in Cong, Co. Mayo, is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Maintenance team in a luxury hotel environment.

You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the hotel, identify opportunities for energy efficiency, and collaborate with departments to keep operations running smoothly while delivering high standards of service to guests.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the hotel, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high professional standard.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and preventative maintenance across the property.
• Collaborate with Management, Maintenance, Housekeeping and other departments to prioritise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to hotel operations.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed with minimal impact on guests while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, displaying appropriate signage and maintaining a proactive approach to guest and colleague safety.
• Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, power tools, and other equipment in line with company policies and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and secure work environment, including proper storage of tools and hazardous substances.
• Manage the maintenance store, ensuring stock levels, equipment and records are maintained effectively.
• Assist with general maintenance duties and contribute to smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel's facilities.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join the Maintenance team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a valued member of our Maintenance team, you will play an important role in ensuring our facilities, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for both guests and colleagues, contributing to the outstanding experience for which The Lodge at Ashford Castle is renowned.

Location: Cong, Co. Mayo

Employment type: Full Time

Working pattern: 5 Days over 7 Days (including some weekends and Public Holidays)

Key Responsibilities as an Electrician
