Job summary

O'Neill and Brennan seeks an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee major construction projects across pharmaceutical, residential, commercial, industrial, and data centre sectors in Kerry. You will report to the Construction Manager and lead electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a senior electrical trade qualification and 3–5 years of site supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Senior electrical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years' site supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience coordinating site activities and managing programmes.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical teams and subcontractors to complete works safely, efficiently, and to programme.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other trades and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, and resource requirements with accurate reporting.
• Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure installations are delivered in accordance with design requirements.
• Support project planning, material management, procurement activities, and delivery schedules.
• Drive quality standards through inspections, audits, and implementation of project quality procedures.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with site safety policies, RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work.
• Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, and safety inspections while ensuring all personnel receive the necessary training and inductions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop site teams, including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and close-out information while supporting continuous improvement and lessons learnt initiatives.
