Electrical Quality Manager – Energy, Industrial

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to shape and drive the quality strategy across the Energy & Industrial Business Unit. You will guide project-based QA/QC teams, uphold electrical quality standards, and monitor performance through audits and KPIs.

You will oversee Quality Plans and ITPs, manage NCRs and defects, and lead activities from energisation through commissioning handover. Travel to Designer Group projects will be expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Electrical QA/QC, Quality Management or Electrical Construction.
• Experience within energy, utilities, industrial, power, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical power, distribution and installation systems.
• Experience developing and managing Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Strong understanding of NCR, defect and corrective-action management.
• Experience with electrical testing, completion, energisation, commissioning and handover.
• Previous experience leading or supporting electrical QA/QC teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management capability.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Designer Group projects.
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Quality Management is advantageous.

• Escalate significant or recurring quality risks to Business Unit leadership.

Requirements
