Job summary

STS Group Ltd. seeks an Electrical QA/QC Professional (Lead/Engineer) for a major heavy industry project in Sweden. You will drive quality strategy, conduct inspections, and manage documentation across electrical and MEP scopes, reporting to the Quality/Project Manager.

Role adapts to lead or engineer level, requiring ISO 9001 quality awareness, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires electrical/MEP engineering degree with proven QA/QC experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated quality auditing experience and/or formal QA qualifications (ISO 9001 / CQI or equivalent).
• Strong ability to manage QA/QC turnover, inspections, and handover packages.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of STS Quality and ITT/ITP plans across electrical and MEP packages.
• Perform quality inspections of electrical power systems, containment, switchgear, and cabling.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical handover inspection and test documentation and manuals.
• Issue ITRs to the Commissioning Agent to achieve milestones.
• Review proposed TTOPs and ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality walk-downs and internal audits; liaise with regulators as required.
• Deliver quality inductions, toolbox talks, and site training.
• Contribute to weekly progress and quality reporting and metrics.
• Engage with client on electrical quality matters and support handover packages.

Join STS Group as our next Electrical QA/QC Professional (Lead / Engineer) for a major heavy industry project in Sweden.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical QA/QC specialist to join our project team in Sweden. Part of the Dussmann Group of companies based out of Berlin, STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality practices.

The Opportunity

Whether you are an established QA/QC Lead looking to drive quality strategy on a large-scale project, or a Junior QA/QC Engineer looking to launch and accelerate your career, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape quality management across our electrical scope. You will work closely with the wider project leadership, commissioning teams, and client representatives to ensure our installations meet and exceed technical specifications.

Reporting to the Quality Manager / Project Manager, key responsibilities will be tailored to your level of experience and will include:

• Drive the implementation of STS Quality and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) across all electrical and MEP packages on site.
• Perform quality inspections of electrical power systems, containment, switchgear, and cabling installations, supporting the timely closeout of defects and punch list items.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical handover inspection and test documentation, operation & maintenance manuals, and TTOPs.
• Issue relevant Inspection and Test Records (ITRs) to the Commissioning Agent to achieve commissioning tagging milestones.
• Support project teams and subcontractors by reviewing proposed TTOPs and ensuring full alignment with project quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality walk-downs, perform internal quality audits, and liaise with external regulatory bodies as required.
• Deliver STS quality-themed inductions, toolbox talks, and continuous training to site project teams and subcontractors.
• Provide key input into weekly progress and quality reporting, tracking quality metrics against overall project milestones.
• Manage client interface on electrical quality matters, attending quality review meetings and driving final handover packages.

Key Qualifications Required:

• Electrical / MEP craft qualification or Electrical / MEP Engineering degree with proven QA/QC experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Quality auditing experience and/or formal quality qualifications (ISO 9001 / CMIOSH / CQI or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience controlling QA/QC turnover and inspection processes on heavy industrial projects
• Strong technical capability in reviewing electrical test documentation and package handover requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize workload, and work effectively to tight project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
