Job summary

TLI Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead renewable energy and substation projects across Ireland, ensuring compliance with ESB/EirGrid standards and health and safety regulations. You will oversee planning, engineering coordination, contractor management, commissioning, and project delivery across wind, solar, BESS, and HV/MV substations.

The role demands 7+ years in MV/HV substations, strong leadership, and expert use of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in MV/HV substations up to 132 kV.
• EU Driving License and right to work in Ireland.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewable and substation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate HV/MV installation and grid connection works.
• Lead design reviews ensuring grid code compliance.
• Oversee QA documentation, testing records, and H&S compliance.
• Interface with stakeholders and manage procurement.
• Ensure as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover docs.
