Job summary

Ward Personnel is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery of a new 110kV substation project in County Meath, Ireland. The role requires taking full ownership from pre-construction to handover, managing the team, subcontractors and consultants to deliver on time, within budget and to specification.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) and have 3–5+ years’ site-based PM experience on renewables or grid infrastructure, with hands-on

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• 3–5+ years in a site-based project management role on renewables or grid infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with HV substations (38kV/110kV/220kV) and grid connections.

Responsibilities

• Own the project from pre-construction through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and consultants daily to meet safety, time and budget targets.
• Maintain commercial control, planning, programming and quality standards.
• Report progress to project leadership and liaise with civil and electrical teams.
• Ensure health and safety, regulatory compliance and quality throughout delivery.
