Job summary

John Paul Construction in Dublin is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead MEP services delivery on commercial and residential projects. You will coordinate design information, supervise installation, and ensure safety and quality across all phases.

The role requires a third level qualification in Building Services M&E or Electrical trade, plus about seven years' experience, ideally with a main contractor on complex schemes.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in building services co-ordination.
• Main Contractor experience preferred, ideally on commercial/residential projects.
• Excellent IT skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP services project delivery cycle.
• Pre-Construction, Planning, Construction, Testing & Commissioning.
• Coordinate design team information to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure MEP deliverables meet safety, quality and programme requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams, MEP subcontractors and project team.

Due to continued expansion, we wish to recruit an Electrical Project Manager based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery cycle from
• Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing & Commissioning
• Co-ordinate design team information & details in time for project delivery activities
• Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables on the project
• Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of safety
• Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved quality plan
• Monitor programmes & review installation progress of MEP services
• Work collaboratively with the design team, MEP subcontractors and the wider project team

Requirements

• Relevant Third level qualification in Building Services M&E or Electrical trade
• 7 years' experience in building services co-ordination
• Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience in Commercial and Residential
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
