Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking an Electrical Package Manager to plan, manage and coordinate the Electrical Systems package on site, ensuring alignment with the project schedule and client requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in managing large installation projects, strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. You will lead a sizeable on-site team and collaborate with the client to deliver on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish performance and delivery criteria; ensure client requirements are met
• Liaise with client to build trusted relationships for future opportunities
• Develop and administer quality control provisions and cost estimating
• Liaise on KPI development and implementation
• Champion safety on site and lead Safety Teams
• Ensure Right First Time quality on site
• Track and report at weekly client updates
• Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and change orders per policy
• Manage on-site team and coordinate travel for resources
• Create installed drawings and O&M Manuals
• Plan resources including labour, material and sub-contractors
• Drive a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Develop achievable and detailed schedules with the project planner
• Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems incl. UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, Generators, Busbars, PDUs
• Address permitting within live environment and RAMS development
• LOTO considerations with vendors/subcontractors

Job description

The role of Electrical Package Manager will have you planning, managing and coordinating all of the Management of the Electrical Systems package on site, ensuring a consistent approach to meet the project schedule and client requirements .

Electrical Engineering Manager Responsibilities

• Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met
• Liaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship to ensure future project opportunities.
• Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate
• Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation.
• Champion safety implementation on site and at site Safety Leadership Teams
• Champion quality focus on site and implement "Right First Time" measures.
• Track and report at weekly client update meetings.
• Liaise with the Commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies.
• Management of direct team on site and coordination of Internal resources regarding travel etc.
• Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
• Planning of all resources including labour, material and sub-contractors
• Manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
• Help develop a achievable and detailed schedule with the project planner.
• Must have a detailed knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, Generators, Busbar systems and PDUs..
• Liaise with the client regarding the permitting of all works within the live environment and participate in the development of RAMS and relevant client permits.
• A strong understanding of the COHE policies and to liaise with various vendors and subcontractors in relation to LOTO of their equipment.

Essential Criteria for the Role:-

• A trade and/or relevant third qualification
• 5-10 years previous experience in Project Management
• Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large installation projects
• Experience dealing with IR issues
• Knowledge Health & Safety
• Experience in design and build
• Good Technical Knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
• Ability to drive a large-scale project
