About the Company

Our client are a leading food manufacturer who are hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their site in County Kildare. This job will be well suited for someone with strong maintenance experience in manufacturing environments and can be the go-to person providing guidance to other technicians. Please note that this position involves one evening shift and one Saturday every four weeks and being on-call one week of every four.

About the Position

• As Maintenance Technician, your job will be to address breakdowns and support technicians as necessary in a food manufacturing environment.
• Monitor machine reliability.
• Work with relevant teams to identify and execute line improvements.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist in the planning/execution of shutdown works/machine overhauls.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians and operatives on site.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Maintenance Technician job, you will experience maintaining equipment in a similar manufacturing environment and a full trade qualification.
• You will also have a strong combination of electrical and mechanical knowledge, and experience mentoring/providing guidance to more junior technicians.
