INFORM3 Recruitment is assisting a Cork-based manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Technician for their East Cork site. You will maintain and repair production equipment in a busy FMCG environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience, fault finding skills, and good communication. This full-time role offers a stable workload and the chance to work as part of a skilled maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in a production/FMCG environment.
• Electrical fault finding capability.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Investigate defects and report issues with potential future impact.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake basic electrical repairs on faulty equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Log defects and ensure a safe, compliant working environment.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Assist with other maintenance duties as required by the Supervisor.

Duties Include:

• Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
• Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake basic electrical repairs of all faulty productions equipment.
• Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
• Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
• Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years experience working within an Electrical Maintenance Environment.
• Knowledge and understanding working within a production industry.
• Experience within Electrical fault finding.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
