Job summary

Sisk Group in Brinny, Cork, is seeking an Electrical Lead to join our Life Science team. The ideal candidate will bring experience on large-scale pharmaceutical projects and lead the electrical delivery from design through commissioning.

The role reports to the Project Director and collaborates with MEP and engineering management to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance. The Electrical Lead will drive strategy, manage resources, and coordinate with clients, consultants and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience leading electrical delivery on Tier 1 construction or engineering projects.
• Relevant health and safety training (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical team and oversee delivery of all electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, fire alarms and life safety systems.
• Ensure all electrical works meet programme, cost and quality objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies for electrical execution, resource allocation and planning.
• Review and approve electrical design documents, technical submittals and material selections.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and regulations (IEC, BS, IEEE, NFPA).
• Oversee FATs, SATs, commissioning and IST for electrical scope.
• Support validation and handover processes with accurate documentation and system certification.
