Job summary

Suir Engineering are seeking an Electrical Foreman to work on a pharmaceutical project based in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. You will lead on-site electrical activities, coordinate with site management and client representatives, and ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and followed.

The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Trade background, strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines, and a track record of delivering safe, high-quality plant

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful execution of the assigned project.
  • Lead daily client meetings and coordinate with site supervision.
  • Establish resource requirements and motivate the project team.
  • Maintain schedule vs available resources.
  • Oversee health, safety and environmental controls on the project.
  • Maintain quality standards per QA/QC procedures.
  • Interact with client and senior management to ensure satisfaction and milestones.
  • Undertake additional duties or site visits as required.

Suir Engineering are currently looking to hire a Electrical Foreman to work on a Pharmaceutical Project based in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

Over the past 40 years we have delivered projects for Irish and multinational clients across the globe. We are currently expanding significantly, and are delivering large scale projects across Ireland, the U.K, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Overall Role Objective

The Electrical Foreman with the support of the site CM and TI PM and site planners, independently manage the project. Ensure that company / project QA/QC procedures are implemented, ensure that project team is well informed, motivated and working effectively and efficiently, keep project on schedule, keep control of man-hours / overtime, keep track of efficiency / productivity, issue weekly and monthly reports, maintain project files, monitor extra work and claims, compile close-out reports and oversee archiving of project files.

What you will be doing?
  • Ensure the successful execution of assigned project.
  • Understanding of the Electrical install process, communication daily with site supervision and being the main POC for daily meeting with the Client
  • Establish project resource requirements and lead / motivate the project team.
  • Maintain a balance between schedule and available resources.
  • Responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental controls on assigned projects. Maintain standards of safety and comply with the Company Health, Safety & Environment procedures. Take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality Systems.
  • Interact with the Client/ Third Party Representatives and Senior Management to ensure customer satisfaction at all times and project milestones are met
  • From time to time undertake some duties, not necessarily associated with a particular project but may include site visits, business development proposals.
