Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is recruiting on behalf of a Dublin-based electrical and mechanical contractor for up to 4 Electrical Foreman/Site Manager roles. You will be responsible for hands-on site management of small to medium commercial electrical projects, with a focus on planning and liaising with main contractors.

Qualifications

• Requires qualified electrician in Ireland with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
• Safepass and manual handling qualifications are essential.
• MEWP training advantageous.
• QC training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on manager of small to medium electrical commercial projects.
• Onsite planning and coordination of works.
• Liaising with main contractor to ensure smooth progress.
• Ensure materials are available on site and equipment is maintained.
• Lead onsite health & safety practices and site compliance.

Job description

Our client is an electrical and mechanical engineering contractor based in Dublin looking to hire for their expanding team. We are looking to hire up to 4 Electrical Foreman/Site Manager.

Working hours for these roles will be Monday to Friday 7-3.30pm and 7-2pm on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in managing small to medium commercial electrical projects, but an experienced electrician who has worked in the type of work that is looking to progress would be considered.
• Hands on manager of small to medium electrical commercial project.
• The role would involve onsite planning.
• You will be responsible for liaising with the main contractor.
• You will be responsible for ensuring there is sufficient materials on site.
• You will be responsible for onsite H&S.

Qualifications:

• Qualified electrician in Ireland with 5 years post qualified experience.
