Job summary

Jones Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to support tendering across large-scale projects from our Damastown office. You will work with the Estimating Manager and a multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate estimates and robust cost plans.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 5+ years in estimating with high-value tendering. Experience with data centre projects and Trimble estimation tools is a plus. A collaborative, detail-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in estimating with high-value tendering.
• Experience with data centre projects advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Lead full tender process from initiation to completion.
• Prepare sub-contractor quotes and ensure spec compliance.
• Take-offs from tender drawings and liaise with teams.
• Attend internal and client meetings as required.
• Inform managers of bid prospects and progress.
