Global Professional Consultants is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for Dublin-based Data Centre and Commercial projects. Lead on-site teams, implement safety plans, and ensure high-quality delivery for a Tier 1 contractor with projects across Ireland, Europe, and the UK.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or related field and 5+ years of site management with a main contractor, with Data Centre experience preferred.

Electrical Project Manager

We are currently recruiting anElectrical Project Managerto work for a leading Irish Tier 1 Engineering contractor onData Centre & Commercial projects in Dublin. Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK and work across many sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Renewables, Commercial, Data Centres.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Contracts Manager in supervising site personnel, leading by example to uphold safety standards and high-quality work.


• Take on-site leadership by implementing the safety plan, ensuring staff have the training and skills to work safely and professionally.


• Plan and manage labour and material resources, oversee subcontractor performance, track progress, and address issues promptly while maintaining good working relationships.


• Monitor and manage team performance, report and act on incidents, and ensure materials meet specifications before installation.


• Implement the project quality plan, close out snag lists promptly, and assist in project handover and close-out.


• Ensure all works meet the project scope, with any changes approved by the Contracts manager.

Requirements

• Degree electrical engineering, construction, or an electrical trade.


• 5+ years of site management with amain contractor.


• Experience inData Centreor high-tech sectors preferred.


• Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and cloud-based communication skills.
