Job summary

Cental Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern/Graduate to join our engineering team in Ireland. This role offers hands-on exposure to design, development and delivery of electrical systems while working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will support the design, testing and commissioning processes, gain practical experience, and contribute to ongoing projects with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interest in electrical engineering, power systems or industrial applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of electrical systems and installations.
• Prepare and update electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Support project planning, coordination and execution with engineering teams.
• Participate in electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist in specification and selection of electrical components and equipment.
• Carry out technical calculations and engineering analysis under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing and project departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and project documentation.
