Job summary

Fastnet is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver capital projects across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors from concept through to commissioning and handover in Cork, Ireland. You will design electrical systems, review documentation, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and provide site support with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience in regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) required.
• 5+ years experience in regulated manufacturing or industrial projects.
• Experience with electrical design, power distribution and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design and delivery from concept through commissioning.
• Prepare and review electrical design documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and vendors.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide commissioning, FAT/SAT and site support while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with 5+ years experience in regulated manufacturing or industrial projects.
• Experience with electrical design, power distribution systems and commissioning activities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary projects.
