Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Ireland to coordinate electrical designs from concept to completion. You will review drawings, liaise with clients to capture requirements, and collaborate with engineers, production and installation teams to deliver practical, standards-compliant solutions.

The role requires a recognised qualification in Electrical Design and experience in HVAC or industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Electrical Design – essential.
• Experience in HVAC, ventilation, industrial equipment or a similar engineering environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, circuits and control systems.
• Ability to read and produce electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of electrical components and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical designs from initial requirements through to completion.
• Produce and review electrical drawings, schematics and circuit designs.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, production and installation teams.
• Select and specify electrical components and control equipment.
• Identify and resolve design and circuit-related issues.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, relevant standards and practical installation requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
