Job summary

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Killarney, Ireland, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design on project-based products, promoting technical excellence within the team.

You will analyse customer requirements, document interfaces, and coordinate with software and commissioning teams to ensure integrated electrical solutions. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Min Level 7 degree in Automation / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong communication and reporting skills (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Familiarity with Zuken E3 or similar drawing package.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements to identify electrical requirements.
• Manage electrical requirements and ensure fulfilled.
• Document crane electrical system interfaces (EI drawing / Single line diagram).
• Liaise with customers on design requirements and details.
• Document control console layouts and functions.
• Generate specifications for electrical equipment including switchgear.
• Integrate electrical sub-systems to ensure overall electrical function.
• Coordinate with software teams on integration requirements.
