Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer in Sligo to lead electrical designs for complex machine builds and automation systems. You will create detailed schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams while ensuring seamless integration with project engineers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on design work with EPLAN Electrical and collaboration across disciplines to deliver projects from concept through installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

Degree or background in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Experience in electrical design for industrial or automation projects.
Proficiency in EPLAN Electrical or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics for machine builds and automation systems using EPLAN Electrical.
Design PLC wiring diagrams, control interfaces, and panel layouts.
Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems.

Electrical Design Engineer - Sligo

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience using EPLAN Electrical, ready to bring major automation and machine-building projects to life across the globe?

In this role, you'll take ownership of creating electrical designs, schematics, panel layouts, and technical drawings for complex machine builds and automation systems. Working closely with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll help ensure seamless electrical integration from initial concept through to installation and commissioning.
