Job summary

Osborne - Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an intermediate/senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our mechanical and electrical design team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

The role focuses on electrical design leadership across a varied portfolio of commercial, residential and light industrial projects. Duties include leading design work, preparing calculations and drawings in AutoCAD or Revit, and coordinating with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of electrical design experience.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Team player with planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Electrical trade background welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Attend design team meetings and represent the company.
• Electrically lead and set design standards.
• Electrical drafting and design in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications and reports.
• Produce outline and detailed design, and construction drawings.
• Undertake feasibility studies and investigative reports.
• Periodic site attendance and inspections for snagging and verification.
• Utilise design software with attention to detail and formatting.

Design Engineer required for mechanical & electrical design consultancy with a large variety of commercial, residential and light industrial clients.

The company has consolidated several excellent clients with repeat work and is looking to expand the team by recruiting an intermediate / senior level electrical design engineer to work in our offices in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

The role is permanent and with a package as per the details below and can be adapted to suit. This role is an opportunity to electrically lead and shape a growing company. Most of our work is Dublin based, however meetings and site attendance are scheduled during off peak traffic hours

Duties

• :Attendance design team meeting and representing the compan

• sProduction of both outline and detailed design, and construction drawing

• nUtilising design software packages with high levels of attention to detail and formatting abilitie

Requirement

• sDiploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or similar
