Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is assisting a well-established Irish electrical contractor in Dublin to recruit an Electrical Supervisor. You will oversee on-site electrical installations, manage labour and subcontractors, and ensure work is safe, on time and to high-quality standards.

You will lead site teams across residential, commercial or industrial projects, coordinating with project managers and trades while maintaining schedules and standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification.
• Experience as Electrical Supervisor, Foreman or Chargehand.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and site operations.
• Experience on commercial, residential or industrial projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fronts and site teams.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installations from first fix to commissioning and handover.
• Manage electricians, subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Coordinate works with Project Managers and Site Managers.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specs and programme.
• Monitor quality standards and perform site inspections.
• Promote health and safety compliance across site activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project close-out.

About Your New Job

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of electrical installations on site, managing labour, subcontractors and daily operations while ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Your Duties

• Supervise electrical installations from first fix through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage electricians, subcontractors and specialist suppliers on site.
• Coordinate works with Project Managers, Site Managers and other trades.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Monitor quality standards and conduct site inspections.
• Promote and maintain health and safety compliance across all site activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to project teams.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project close-out.

What Skills You Need

• Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Foreman or Chargehand.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and site operations.
• Experience working on commercial, residential or industrial projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
