Job summary

Kepak Group in Clonee, Co. Meath is seeking a proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Officer to strengthen our safety culture at the site.

You will help ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation and company policies, driving continuous improvement and employee wellbeing. The role requires a qualification in OHS or Environmental Management, knowledge of ISO standards, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management.
• Minimum 1 year EHS experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support H&S Management System implementation and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes.
• Monitor compliance with legislation and company procedures.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training programmes.
• Support environmental compliance and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and KPI dashboards for management.
