Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the environmental, health and safety functions within a major Pharma/Life Sciences manufacturer. The role is site-based and offers a competitive package including bonus, healthcare and pension.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor environmental, health & safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Drive writing, revising and rollout of EHS procedures and training materials
• Coordinate and conduct internal EHS audits and inspections with corrective actions tracked to closure
• Coordinate compliance with contractor management standards and legislation
• Manage technical activities to progress projects and investigations

My client is a major Life Science / Pharma Manufacturer in Ireland, and this would be a fantastic company to help you further your career in Health & Safety. You would manage the existing EHS team and report to the Health & Safety Director. This is a Full Time Permanent Position.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Developing, implementing and monitoring environmental, health & safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company standards and values.
• Driving effective writing/revising/rolling out of accurate operational procedures, training materials and EHS related procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct internal EHS auditing and inspection ensuring actions are tracked to closure.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with legislation and company technical standards regarding contractor management.
• Managing technical activities to progress projects and investigations.

To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following:

• Relevant EHS Qualification.
• 5+ years experience in EHS, and management experience in a Pharma Setting / Life Sciences
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Excellent communication skills
