Job summary

PepsiCo is inviting an EHS Intern to join the Cork site under the Pepsico Intern recruitment program. The role supports the Global GEHSMS compliance and expands the EHS team's scope. You will engage in safety initiatives, data recording, and system upkeep.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in EHS or related fields, with strong communication, analytical skills, and a collaborative, self-motivated mindset. Relevant IT skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EHS or related field.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and eager to learn.
• Strong IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Proactively championing EHS and safe working practices across the company’s activities and operations.
• Provides EHS updates, support and advice to colleagues.
• Assisting with reporting, investigations, and recording of accident, incident, near-miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation.
• Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments as required, ensuring appropriate action plans in place
• Support the implementation of the EHS management system (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
• Support the upkeep of EHS systems such as the legal, SDS and event database
