Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is looking for an EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation, implement integrated management systems, and assist in developing Risk Assessments.

The ideal candidate has a relevant Health and Safety degree and at least 2 years of experience. Additional benefits include 23 days of annual leave, paid maternity and paternity leave, and opportunities for international assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
• Experience within EP&R environments is desired but not a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS Manager to ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.
• Implement Integrated Management System with Project Manager and Construction Team.
• Ensure site is set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become Subject Matter Expert in Suir’s High-Risk Activities.
• Assist in developing Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
• Provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Promote the 'Suir Way' regarding Health & Safety.
• Report and investigate incidents, ensuring root causes are mitigated.

We have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering. This position is within our Life Science sector and will be across in Blanchardstown, Tallaght & Clonseagh.

What you will be doing?

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
• Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System
• Ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site‑Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
• Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements
• Assist with the development of SOP’s and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.
