Job description

Our client is seeking an EHS Administrator to join their team in Cootehill, Cavan on a temporary 12 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify and address potential hazards
• Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Attend meetings on behalf of the EHS Team when required to deliver the EHS Agenda and drive continuous improvement across the business
• Participate in the development of training presentations and training documentation for review by the EHS Team
• Coordinate, Schedule, and track various training to support company programs
• Assist in the administration and development of the inhouse safety management system
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
• Performs other similar tasks and special projects as required and assigned
• Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety, and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well at the Abbott Global and Technical standards
