Job summary

Bon Secours Health System is seeking an experienced EHR Trainer to support BonsConnect implementations, optimizations, and ongoing staff training across the hospital network. The role involves hands-on delivery, material development, and close collaboration with clinical, operational, and technical teams.

The successful candidate will travel between five hospital sites to provide on-site and virtual sessions, ensuring staff are proficient in EHR applications before, during, and after system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, health informatics, nursing, education, IT, or related field.
• Desirable qualification in adult education or training delivery.
• Experience delivering training and developing materials for adult learners.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Experience supporting EHR implementations or go-live projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led EHR training programmes for clinical and non-clinical staff, in person and virtually.
• Onboard and refresh training sessions for new and existing employees.
• Assess user competency and identify training needs and gaps.
• Provide post-training support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Ensure training aligns with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and policies.
• Travel between hospital locations to deliver training and support.
• Develop and maintain training materials, guides, crib sheets, and e-learning content.
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators, and operations to keep content up to date.
• Support go-live periods and post-implementation reviews for optimizations.
• Engage stakeholders to promote user adoption and best practices.
• Monitor training impact and propose improvements to materials and approaches.
• Ensure governance and compliance with privacy and clinical workflows.
