Job summary

UPMC Ireland is seeking an EHR ICT Technical Support Analyst to provide front-line support for a large-scale EHR implementation. The role focuses on incident and service request management using ServiceNow, coordinating with IT and infrastructure teams to keep tickets moving and resolved within SLAs.

The successful candidate will support the Meditech EHR programme, work with programme teams and external vendors, and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IT support within healthcare or EHR environments.
• Proficient in using ServiceNow to manage incidents and requests.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and ownership of support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage requests and incidents in ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues where possible.
• Take ownership of ongoing technical issues and follow through.
• Escalate issues to Level 2/3 or vendor support as needed.
• Coordinate meetings with stakeholders, including third parties, to resolve tickets.
