Job summary

Spring Creek Quail Farms in Ontario is hiring an Egg Collector/Packer to join our family-owned operation. This hands-on role suits someone who stays active, works with their hands, and takes pride in doing quality work on a busy farm.

You’ll collect, inspect, and pack quail eggs, keep areas clean, follow food-safety procedures, and support other farm tasks. Experience with poultry is an asset but not required; day shifts, 35+ hours weekly, with no weekends.

We’re growing quickly and looking for a reliable, hardworking Egg Collector/Packer to join our team. This is a hands-on role that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and taking pride in doing a job well.

We use AI-assisted tools to help identify and match applicants to our open roles. This may include reviewing resumes and suggesting potential matches. All final hiring decisions are made by humans.

What You'll Do

As an Egg Collector/Packer, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality quail eggs every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting and handling quail eggs carefully
• Inspecting and grading eggs according to quality standards
• Removing eggs that do not meet quality requirements
• Packaging and labelling finished egg products accurately
• Maintaining clean and sanitary egg collection and packing areas
• Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
• Performing other farm and production duties as required

You should:

• Be comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Be able to stand and remain active throughout your shift
• Be able to lift and handle 20–30 lbs
• Be comfortable working around birds and a farm environment

Experience With Poultry?

Experience working with chickens, quail, or other poultry is an asset but not required.

• $18-$20/hour
• Full-Time hours – 35+ hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• No weekends
