Job summary

Annyalla Chicks Ltd in Co. Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Farm Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple poultry houses, ensuring bird welfare and production targets are met.

You’ll manage administration, data recording, and supervise contractors while maintaining high biosecurity standards. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of poultry management experience, a passion for farming, strong leadership, and a driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years poultry management experience
• Experience in poultry industry (essential)
• Ability to drive and hold a driving licence

Contract: permanent, full time.

About the Role :

As a Farm Manager you will be responsible for daily operate of multiple poultry houses to meet production standards and quality expectations. You will ensure bird welfare is maintained to the highest standards and oversee daily operations, from administration and data recording to supervising contractors and monitoring production performance.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for poultry farming, strong attention to detail and the ability to lead by example.

What you will do :

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
• Always oversee bird welfare and biosecurity standards
• Keep accurate farm and flock records in line with Red Tractor Scheme requirements
• Assist with planning, health checks and general farm administration
• Communicate effectively with the Senior Management and external contractors

What we looking for :

• Ability to manage time and lead a small team effectively
• Computer literacy and confidence with record keeping
• Experience in poultry industry (essential)
• 2-3 years’ experience in poultry management
• driving licence
