Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. in Ireland seeks a release-focused engineer to own EDA tooling, packaging, and sign-off for complex soft IP. You will build Tcl/Python tooling, run release testing, and collaborate across design, verification, and implementation teams to accelerate AI-assisted flows.

You’ll help ensure on-schedule releases, maintain quality gates, and drive optimism in release readiness through automation and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in EDA tooling or equivalent project work.
• Experience packaging deliverables, running release regressions, and verifying content and quality gates.
• Strong scripting skills (Tcl and/or Python) and an automation-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the product release process for complex soft IP: assemble and package deliverables, verify contents and configurations, and produce release collateral.
• Run release testing and sign-off: exercise release regressions and quality gates, confirm packaging correctness, sign off before shipping.
• Develop, run, and maintain EDA tooling and dashboards to track release status and quality.
• Debug tooling and release failures end to end: analyze logs, identify root causes, communicate risks, drive issues to closure.
• Apply AI to accelerate the work: triage logs, summarize trends, and draft/refactor scripts.
• Improve documentation, packaging criteria, and reusable collateral for repeatable releases across IP programs.
