Job summary

MWeds seeks an Early Years Educator to join our team at 60 Castletown Manor, Athboy, Co. Meath. You will supervise children's play and support their physical, social and emotional development on a 40-hour work week.

The ideal candidate has about 1 year of childcare experience, a caring and empathetic nature, and a positive, can-do attitude. A second language is a plus and strong communication with parents and colleagues is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year childcare experience preferred.
• Caring and empathetic nature.
• Second language would be an advantage.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and enthusiasm to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children's play and encouraging physical, social and emotional development.
• Providing opportunities for different types of play and preparing materials for a wide range of children's activities.
• Encouraging children's independence, self-confidence and social interaction.
• Organising and supervising children on excursions.
• Organising and supervising children's activities in accordance with Childcare Regulations, cleaning up the play area and equipment after use, liaising with parents, carers and colleagues and keeping all appropriate records.
