Job summary

MWeds Ltd in Dublin is seeking an Early Year’s Educator to join Cocoon Childcare Limited at Oldcourt Shopping Centre, Moritz House, Parklands Rd, Ballycullen, Ireland. The role requires 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with educators and parents, uphold children’s rights, and support learning using Aistear and Síolta frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education.
• Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a good level of communication with all educators, including the management team of the centre.
• Respect the rights of the children in your care and their parents.
• Engage in respectful interactions with children and support their learning and development.
• Work as part of a team, fostering good working relationships with colleagues.
• Attend all relevant training when required.
• Attend team meetings and contribute constructively.
• Organise room movements with management and inform parents of changes.
• Ensure children’s engagement in activities using available equipment and encourage active participation.
• Maintain child registers daily in accordance with Tusla regulations.
• Plan and implement a weekly curriculum.
• Revise room layouts to support a structured environment per preschool regulations.
