Clare-Gladwin RESD Administration Building in Clare, MI seeks an Early Learning Partnership Coordinator to develop and lead a community-based vision for early childhood development. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Communications/Marketing, Community/Economic Development or related field required.
  • Minimum five years employment experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and cultural sensitivity to bridge diverse populations and agencies and parents across Clare and Gladwin Counties.
  • In-depth knowledge of early childhood programs and related services.
  • Knowledge of financing relative to early childhood services and ability to write and secure grant funding, as well as solicit donations from area foundations and other benefactors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations and communications.
  • Experience in strategic planning, data integration and analysis, community needs assessment, grant writing, resources and fund development, and community outreach/marketing.
  • Prior experience in Clare and Gladwin County initiatives.

Early Learning Partnership Coordinator
  • LOCATIONS: Clare-Gladwin RESD Administration Building, 4041 E. Mannsiding Rd, Clare MI
  • REPORTS TO: Director of Early Childhood and Family Services
  • WORK DAYS: Full-time, 260-day contract
  • SALARY: Anticipated Hiring Range: $51,834 - $60,982 annually.
  • Placement on the salary schedule will be determined by qualifications and experience.
  • STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
JOB OBJECTIVE:

To develop and lead a community-based vision of early childhood development to ensure system building and development. Support the fulfillment of the implementation strategies through partnerships with families and community organizations to improve access, leadership, and engagement in early childhood education that all children enter kindergarten safe, healthy, and eager to succeed in school and life.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Communications/Marketing, Community/Economic Development or related field required.
