Job summary

EFOR is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation engineer for a site-based role in Ireland's pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. You will bring 8+ years in E&I design and construction, with hands-on expertise in process monitoring and control instrumentation, and a strong grasp of regulatory expectations.

You will produce, review and approve detailed E&I documentation such as specifications, P&IDs, loop drawings, I/O lists and cable schedules, support design through FAT/SAT,

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with 8+ years in E&I design and construction.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences regulated environments in Ireland.
• Proficient in Windows-based software: Word, PowerPoint, Project, Advanced Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Support design, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning and validation of E&I systems.
• Produce, review and approve E&I specifications, P&IDs, loop drawings, I/O lists and cable schedules.
• Work independently in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
• Site-based role in Ireland.

Job description

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry in Ireland or similar regulated sectors
• In-depth knowledge of E&I systems including:
• Instrumentation for process monitoring and control (pressure, temperature, flow, pH, etc.).
• Ability to produce, review, and approve detailed engineering documentation: E&I Specifications, SLDs, loop drawings, P&IDs, I/O lists, cable schedules etc
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations: IEC, EN, IS, ATEX, I.S. 10101
• Experience supporting project lifecycle phases: design, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and validation.
• Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing site
• Site based role.

Experience

• Degree qualified along with 8 plus years’ experience in E&I design and construction environments
• Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
