Job summary

Fónua is expanding its e-commerce team in Cork, seeking a commercially minded individual to manage and grow online sales across its own sites, client websites and major marketplaces in the UK and Ireland.

You will oversee day-to-day channel performance, dropship listings, and partner relationships, coordinating with sales, purchasing, warehouse and finance to optimise orders and stock while driving revenue and margin improvements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in e-commerce, online sales, marketplace management or sales support.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of online retail.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, CRM and online systems.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing product data, pricing, stock or online catalogues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with Amazon or major UK/Irish retailers and marketplaces is an advantage.
  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, consumer electronics, or related product categories is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop Fónua’s owned e-commerce channels ensuring
  • Manage sales performance across customer managed websites, third-party marketplaces and dropship partner sites.
  • Ownership of product catalogue, pricing, stock availability, promotions and online content across assigned channels.
  • Monitor online sales, revenue, margin, stock levels and channel performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through new products, promotions, pricing, merchandising and improved product content.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions and product positioning within the market/
  • Support the onboarding and launch of new brands amd products across relevant websites and marketplaces.
  • Manage online promotions, deals and seasonal campaigns and monitor their commercial performance.
  • Work closely with sales, purchasing, warehouse, finance and customer operations teams to ensure efficient order and stock management.
  • Monitor stock availability and back orders and proactively address potential lost-sales opportunities.
  • Liaise with customers and marketplace contacts to resolve pricing, listing, stock, fulfilment and content issues.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts and performance information.
  • Identify new online sales opportunities and support the development of new e-commerce channels and customer relationships.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and with external customers and marketplace partners.
  • Ensure all activities comply with customer, marketplace and internal requirements.

Overview Of Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially focused individual to join Fónua’s growing e-commerce business. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and developing online sales across Fónua’s own websites, customer-managed websites and key third-party marketplaces in the UK and Ireland.

The role will have direct responsibility for the day-to-day management and commercial performance of online channels, as well as dropship and marketplace listings with retail partners.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple channels, a large product portfolio and customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop Fónua’s owned e-commerce channels ensuring
