Job summary

HID Global, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Credit and Collections Associate for a 9-month FTC in Galway, Ireland. The role supports the EMEA team with account administration, payment investigations and process improvements.

You will assist in onboarding new customers, manage cash collection activities, and support month-end close and audits, working closely with IT and collections colleagues.

Qualifications

• Primary degree or relevant qualification in Administration, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2/3 years’ experience in a multinational environment, preferably within Finance, Customer Service, Order Management, or a related business function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems - Oracle Accounts Receivable or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the EMEA Credit & Collections function as required.
• Assist with gathering information required for customer credit reviews.
• Assist with new customer onboarding activities including account setup in ERP system and validation of existing customer records.
• Provide administrative assistance to collectors in the management of cash collection activities and the investigation and resolution of payment discrepancies and disputed account items.
• Support customer account maintenance activities, including account status updates and service coordination.
• Prepare customer communications, reports, and business documentation as assigned.
• Assist in daily running of Accounts Receivable Interface on Oracle and liaise with Collections team and IT where required.
• Participate in month-end Accounts Receivable close activities as necessary.
• Support quarterly and annual audits through documentation gathering and transaction validation.
• Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
