Job summary

Monread Fare is hiring a Retail Duty Manager in Food Service in Naas, Co. Kildare. You will lead daily operations in the Fresh Food Department, ensure exceptional guest service, and maintain high hygiene standards in a friendly, welcoming environment.

The role reports to the Site Operations Manager and requires flexibility for varied shifts across weekdays and weekends. On-site staff facilities and opportunities for progression are highlighted in the benefits package.

• To be aware of the level of business expected on the site and enable delivery of exceptional guest services. Guests are to be greeted in a warm and courteous fashion at all times and you will be responsible to ensure that queries are addressed in a friendly and efficient manner.
• To supervise, manage and assist in the daily operation of the Fresh Food Department areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised, implementing and maintaining the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
• Ensure that appropriate service systems related to contractors site visits are in use, service logs, granting permission for site access and paperwork completion.
• To liaise with Departmental Manager/Site Management regarding all operational issues.
• To ensure a high level of hygiene is implemented throughout the Site at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation and regular monitoring/recording of the same.
