Job summary

Rockwell in Cork is hiring experienced Duct Installers for permanent, full-time roles on large pharmaceutical and industrial projects. You will install and maintain duct systems, read technical drawings, plan sequences, and coordinate with other trades.

The role requires two years' duct/HVAC experience, tools proficiency, strong problem-solving, and valid safety certifications. Safe and timely project delivery is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Rockwell are currently looking for experienced Duct Installers in Co. Cork. These are permanent, full-time positions working on largescale pharmaceutical and industrial projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for installing and maintaining duct systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Work with sheet steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades.
• Fabricate and install unistrut brackets and threaded rod hangers.
• Work with a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in duct installation, HVAC, or a related field
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools, and safety equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair duct systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and effectively prioritise workload
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling and IPAF certifications are required.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures
