Job summary

JJ Rhatigan & Company in Dublin is recruiting a Site Engineer to join our award-winning team on multi-million-euro projects. You will provide site engineering and technical support to ensure works align with design specifications, drawings, quality standards, and programme requirements, while maintaining safe systems of work at all times.

Key duties include setting out, design coordination, BIM utilisation, and QA/ITP processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting out and dimensional control.
• Familiar with RFI processes and design coordination.
• Proficient in BIM and digital construction platforms.
• Ability to coordinate with design teams and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for setting out operations and contol of dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with Senior Engineer on primary control and monitoring protocols.
• Prepare and maintain RFI schedules and discuss technical details with Senior Engineer.
• Review design information and ensure construction teams have required information.
• Attend weekly design meetings and provide technical input.
• Assist in method statements and ITPs to ensure buildability and safety.
• Learn temporary works and progress toward greater responsibility.
