Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Intern/Co-op for Downstream Operations to contribute to process improvements and support batch operations from vial thaw through fill and freezing of bulk drug substance.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, assisting CAPA closure, and supporting start-up projects and SOP generation. This is a fixed-term internship with a focus on hands-on learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Science or engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in data analysis or process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
• Assist batch operations monitoring from vial thaw to fill and freezing.
• Contribute to CAPA management and QRAs closure.
• Assist start-up projects and SOP/eBatch record generation.
